September, the 16th. Brondby. Stadium «Brondby». Attendance:
50. +20 degrees.
The rival of the Thursday’s game was “Trondheims-Orn” (Norway)
who upset Kazakhstan’s team at the last game. The team from
Norway is very experienced and usually used the mistakes of
defense. But Voronezh team played very good and most of the
game had the advantage. There were no many spectators in the
match only the Brondby men’s team stopped to see the match
after the training.
On the 2nd minute Elena Sopuslova could score but
when she went through two defenders couldn’t overplay the
goalkeeper. A minute later the Norwegian goalkeeper was in
work again taking the kick from Lamtyugina. And Scandinavian
players didn’t lost their chance- after the corner kick Olga
Svinukhove didn’t keep the ball in hands. The goal made the
Russian team more active. The main episode was substitution of
Irina Zvarich who was not so good to Nadezhda Bosikova. On the
31st minute after accurate air pass from Elena
Souslova and Bosikova made the goal with a head. Till the end
of the 1st half FC Energy could score twice but
Olga Mishanskaya and Dariya Apanashenko didn’t use their
chances.
After the break the both teams had not bad chances to score
again. Our team was very close to success. No one knows why
Daria Apanashenko shot not so strong – she had to score. On
the 89th minute Emily Burt kicked to goalkeeper
from 3 meters. This deuce seemed to be more success for
Trondheims side than for FC Energy. Mainly Voronezh team was
not so lucky in some episodes.
At the second game IF Brondby upset FC Alma-KTZH 2:0.
